Finance Master
Privacy policy
Updated: 27 October 2026
From version 0.15.0, analytics choices are managed through the shared Google privacy form. Earlier versions use a separate analytics switch in Settings. This policy covers Finance Master, including optional usage analytics, banner ads and Google Play purchases. Bitcoin uses historical prices bundled with the app and makes no price requests. Development and release builds use the same Learn Finance Analytics project; the release uses configured AdMob ads. Service-specific sections apply only when those services are enabled.

Your entries stay on your device
Investment and loan entries, hypothetical Bitcoin purchase plans, the selected language, privacy choice and screen position are saved locally so you can continue later. Finance Master does not send your financial amounts, rates or purchase dates to the publisher, Google Analytics or the price provider. If you enable analytics, the categories of use described below may be sent. There is no sign-in or publisher-operated account server.
Offline Bitcoin history
The Bitcoin price history is included in the app. Opening the screen, moving the purchase date and calculating DCA do not contact a price provider or send it your IP address, budget or purchase plan. Results use the last completed day in the bundled history, clearly shown with the value. Prices do not update automatically. A future app version may include a newer history.
Optional usage analytics
When configured, Google Analytics for Firebase helps the publisher understand which calculators and explanations are useful. Analytics follows the explicit analytics-storage choice in the Google privacy form (UMP); accepting advertising alone does not enable it. There is no separate analytics switch. Firebase is prepared before the form with collection disabled. Collection starts only with a saved explicit analytics permission. A missing, invalid or unconfigured choice, including a region where this consent mode does not apply, does not enable analytics. An existing saved choice can be used while offline; changes require the privacy service to be available. The former standalone analytics setting is not treated as UMP consent. Events may include screen and learning-topic identifiers, calculation mode, one or two options, whether inflation or DCA was enabled, validation-error categories, visits to Remove ads and purchase-flow status. They never include entered financial values, hypothetical purchase dates, DCA counts or intervals, email, free text or purchase tokens. Selection of a calculator or investment mode, loading a built-in example and opening a learning topic from search can also be recorded. Search words are never sent. We measure how many whole seconds a calculator or learning topic remains displayed while the app is in the foreground. Timing stops in the background or on other screens; unfinished time is discarded when analytics is switched off. Each recorded segment is capped at four hours. Displayed time can include inactivity and loading and does not prove that you read or understood an article. Google may process automatic events, technical app/device information and an app-instance identifier. With real billing enabled, automatic purchase events may include the price and currency of the app purchase. Analytics is not guaranteed anonymous. Firebase advertising consent stays denied and advertising-ID collection is disabled; the separate ad SDK has its own data flow. You can withdraw analytics permission through Settings → Privacy choices when the UMP form is available. This stops new collection and resets local analytics data, but does not delete previously sent data or guarantee cancellation of an ongoing transfer. Events from before opt-in are not stored for later sending. After opt-in, the Google SDK may temporarily store events on the device for delivery.
Banner ads and ad privacy
The app includes Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform (UMP). The shared privacy form manages advertising choices and the separate analytics purpose. UMP checks the choice on the home screen or first suitable screen of each foreground session and shows a form where needed, including for users who removed ads. Settings provides Privacy choices to reopen the available form or retry the check. UMP requests can send technical device and connection information to Google to determine and manage privacy choices. Normal ad requests additionally require a configured AdMob app, a successful ownership check showing no Remove ads purchase, and permission to request ads under UMP. Banner ads may appear on calculator input and result screens, on the Bitcoin screen before or after a calculation, and in learning articles. They are separated from content and controls and hidden while the keyboard is open. Navigation menus, Settings, the privacy policy and the purchase screen do not show banner ads. Verified buyers receive no banner requests. When the ad SDK runs, Google can process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device or other identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic data for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention under its policy. Finance Master does not attach calculator entries. The development-only test preview bypasses the normal ad gate solely after you explicitly tap Load Google test banner. It sends technical data to Google and does not grant a purchase or change consent choices; it is not a UMP consent test.
Removing ads through Google Play
Remove ads is a single non-consumable purchase through Google Play. Google handles the checkout and payment details; Finance Master does not receive your card number. The app reads the product, purchase token, signed receipt and purchase state to verify, acknowledge and restore the purchase. Signed evidence is kept in private local storage and verified again before restoring an offline entitlement. A pending payment does not unlock the purchase. Network failures preserve a previously verified entitlement; a successful Google Play check can revoke an entitlement that is no longer present. The app verifies purchase signatures on the device and has no publisher-operated verification server. Removing ads does not grant or withdraw analytics permission. No purchase token is added to our analytics events.
Retention & deletion
Financial drafts stay until you clear them in Settings, clear Android app data or uninstall. Clear local drafts keeps your language, privacy choice and any purchase evidence. Bundled historical prices are part of the app. Any price cache left by an older app version is ignored. Clearing Android app data or uninstalling removes local settings and any legacy cache or purchase evidence; eligible Google Play purchases can be restored when billing is enabled. App data is excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer. The publisher cannot access or remotely delete local entries. Local deletion does not delete Google purchase records, previously sent analytics or advertising data, or network records created by older versions at a price provider. Provider retention follows their rules and the Analytics property settings. Contact the publisher with questions about data handled by the publisher.
Data protection
Local data is stored in private Android app storage. Calculations and Bitcoin history run on the device. Internet access supports the Google services described above, not Bitcoin price updates. The app does not request access to contacts, precise location, camera or microphone. Device and operating-system security also affect locally stored data.
